    Riverbourne for sale.

We have reluctantly decided we have to sell Riverbourne in order to purchase more country for the studs growth, our present property does not permit us to produce enough ewes and rams for our  growing client base. The GFC, has of course had a big influence on our decision. We love this place with its beautiful English climate, ( we are at 1000 metres), and only two or three days a year over 30 degrees C. We have unlimited water for our garden and a very safe rainfall, for us the place has had a sort of magic feel, that spoke to us on the first day we saw it! On summer evenings the mist rolls into our valley, cooling and moist, just beautiful.

    Lambing
This year we have marked over 100 ram lambs, ( and ewe lambs), these are from seven different sires, but two main bloodlines.
The first of these are from the Visagie stud in South Africa, have good heads and musculature, the ewes are very feminine, and the rams are very long, of moderate size, and well balanced.
The second are from the Grobelaar stud in South Africa, and are noted for their excellent shedding, large capacity, and carry a little extra fat, which is of benefit to those sheep in the colder areas, such as the Southern Tablelands, Highlands, and of course the Monaro.
