Went to check the sheep, and found the herd guardians had increased by two. Our Llamas had produced two beautiful babies, the male had been running with them for about 15 months and we had given up all hope of babies. Then suddenly here they are!

Cute hey, I think they are girls.

Plenty of wool for Eileen to spin and knit wonderfully warm, soft scarves and beanies in her spare time! I agree they are cute, too.

We haven't shorn the llamas. They don't seem to need it which suits us, they kick and spit. We shear our lone alpaca "Solly" so he can provide the fibre for domestic arts.

If the llamas reaction to the working dogs is any indication, the babies are more interested than their mothers.
